The Caribbean Resort has just completed an 8 million dollar renovation of our suites building now called the Dominican tower and a brand new Cayman tower which boasts 2, 3, and 4 bedroom condos. For those families looking for a quieter atmosphere we offer the Chelsea 2 and 3 bedroom condos. What to expect: The resort attracts families seeking casual holidays featuring water-attraction fun, who wish to be north of heavier downtown traffic while remaining within easy driving distance of downtown attractions. Guests age 20 and younger are not permitted unless accompanied by an adult.

Amenity highlights: A 200-foot lazy river sheltered by a solarium in winter provides year-round fun. Sharing the same outdoor deck is an unheated 50-foot-long free-form pool and a 16-person spa tub.

Insider tip: The resort offers golfers playing privileges to the celebrated and private Dunes Golf Course seven miles away.

The Caribbean is a great place to stay. The amenities are awesome and the kids really loved the slide. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. I would recommend the Caribbean to all my friends.

I visited the Caribbean with my grand parents and it was great! I don't get to see them very often and we had such a good time. We stayed in the Dominican Tower and they just redid the whole kitchen which Grandma loved. Thanks from us all.

My wife and I brought the kids down for their spring break. It was our first time staying at the Caribbean and we loved it! The three bedroom condo that we stayed in was beautiful. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful in referring us to a local pizza place called Ultimate California Pizza. It was great! We had so much fun that we already made a reservation to come back this summer!

The Rays
We have stayed at the Caribbean Resorts for over 30 years--way back when it was a much smaller hotel. We have always loved it even as it keeps growing they have maintained the personal touch. We recently had to change our reservation due to a death in our family and the management made sure everything worked out for us during a difficult time. We also love the clean rooms, and being right next door to the best restaurant at the beach--The Sea Captains House. We wouldn't stay anywhere else.

My family and I come to Myrtle Beach very often, when we come we stay at the Caribbean Resort. We love this hotel, its my daughters favorite hotel in Myrtle Beach. The service is excellent, and the hotel is lovely. I would recommend this hotel to everyone!

Coin-operated laundry machines are located in the resort's newly renovated Cayman tower. A fitness center contains cardio machines and a Universal gym.

The resort offers a 454 units which include condos, guestrooms and suites. Most are located in a newly renovated Cayman tower and a fifteen-story Dominican building with elevators.  Condos and suites feature ocean-view balconies.

All condos and suites include light-colored wood furniture and tropically colored fabrics. Complimentary toiletries are available at the front desk.
